As a child of the early 70's 'The Streets of San Francisco' were much watched TV , far better than Dixon of Dock Green and Z-Cars, It all seemed so much more colourful and faster paced than what we saw around us.
As to his passing I only have 2 things to say.
1. Innings!
2. IMDB list him with 70 individual acting credits ( not including 120 episodes of Streets of San Francisco)
Amongst his filmography were parts in;
A Street Car Named Desire
On The Water Front
Birdman of Alcatraz
The Cinncinati Kid
Patton
and so on
Not bad Mr Malden , not bad at all.
