This is just getting silly now.
Alright we get it, "Everything in the whole wide world gives you the cancer."
Now instead of using all the millions of dollars /pounds you get in donations researching the causes of the cancer and telling us about avoiding the cancer, can you just please get the fuck on with finding cures for the cancer.
.

My mum got a secondary cancer (after being treated for breast cancer) possibly provoked by the tamoxifen she was on, but that's life.
ReplyDeleteMedicine is, by it's very nature, imperfect.
The Docs have a limited toolbag of remedies for all of life's woes, and although they get better with time, if they have an effect, they will have side-effects; just to a greater or lesser extent.
To be fair to whichever body came up with this research, it was probably as a result of studying the 'cure' in the first place, after rolling the drug out. Long term side-effects won't be seen until they do so.
What is unhelpful is when the media blow things out of proportion, rather then let Docs go over the risks/benefits with their patients.
