That looks roomy enough to me, but they can't look out of the window. How many hours are they stuck in there?
Well I think they only fly these in and out of Helmand from Kuwait City. So back of envelope time, Kuwait City to Helmandapprox 970 miles, Cruise speed Globemaster C-17 515mph , so I'd say about 2 hours flying time. They then transfer to RAF Tristars for the trip back to Blighty.
OK, two hours seems fair enough. Is there an inflight movie?
