My little niece on hearing a comment about her brother, came up to me today and asked " Uncle Pavlov's Cat, if little boys are made of slugs and snails and puppy dog tails, what are little girls made of? "
So I told her " Venom and spite, their fathers tears and their mothers bitterness, plus a desire to see all men crushed, penniless, broken of spirit and hope."
To which my brother responded " So, not really over Suzi yet then?"
"No" I replied "Not quite yet."

Hah! In my job, where I work with my husband, I have a few *much* older customers, who do the old 'when are you going to leave you husband and come away with me' thing. Gag me with a spoon. One day, sick of doing the whole silly smile and the customer is always right thing, I turned to one and said "He still has money and the will to live. I'm not leaving him until I've taken both of those".
