The Mega Tamago (click for larger)I have mentioned before of my liking for the products of Mr Ronald McD.
The tasty looking burger above is the Mega Tamago* from McDonald's Japan, it is an unholy creation combining a Big Mac and a Bacon, Cheese and Egg Burger.
But, my it does look tasty, although apparently McDonald's** have no intention of releasing it in other markets, which I think is a damn shame.
It's probably a good thing as I'm sure the Health Nazi's at the Ministry of Sucking All the Joy Out of Life would collapse into their fat free muesli at the very thought of such an abomination heading to our shores.
Actually no 'Fuck Em'. I Want My Mega Tamago! now where's the Facebook petition.
* Tamago is Japanese for Egg, so it's A Large Egg for me
** The Chaplin's name where I went briefly to college was Donald Ronald Mc'Donald, true story

I'm on site and on the case. Popped into one of Mr M's franchises yesterday to get my daughter a snack and admired the Tamago Double Mac adverts though managed to resist since it was near my teatime and there was a curry waiting for me at home.

At the MrM franchise Shinagawa Sation, Tokyo no sign of the puppy, nor at Hongodai MrM franchise here in Yokohama. Search parties are still our looking as I write this. If it's still on sale we'll find one.
ReplyDeleteBack from my jaunt way up North and can report that The Tamago Mega Mac is no longer promoted, it was on the cards a couple of months ago. So when I needed a snack for the train back from Morioka I got myself a Tomago Double Mac. It's a bit peppery, I prefer the UK relish. Having road tested the Hatfield Double Mac several years ago that's the one I'd have.
