Mr North North Wester knows what bloggers are Against, after all we post endlessly about it.
But what are we actually For, so he is inviting people next Monday 10th August , to put up a posting showing what you are actually For in this world of ours.
Could we maybe spend a few minutes next Monday to celebrate a particular work of art; a film or a novel, a song, poem, sculpture or play that exemplifies something or other that we stand for, rather than blog against?
Have a read here, and sign up if you wish. At present he's asking that it be art, so no real life events or people ( unless depicted on film )
So what floats your boat, what these days still inspires you, is it a male voice choir singing Jerusalem, the Jack Aubrey books by Patrick O'Brien, a song, a play, a poem, a piece of art Matisse or Monet?.
What when the black dog comes calling do you turn to? What is it that lifts your chin, steels your gaze and makes your heart beat just a little bit faster?
What after repeated viewings, listening, readings can still make you say 'fuck, that was good'
