It seems the SAD has kicked in, which on top of my general low level depression is never a good thing.
No post yesterday and bereft of ideas today, the news is all so bleak. I will see if I can find my ‘get up and go’ which has ‘got up and gone’ tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteIt does have an 'End Times' quality to it lately, it's true. I think you just have to see the humour in any of the stories, though, if you can.
It really does shake me at times to realise that in only 12 years we have come from the optimism of the 1997 election*
ReplyDeleteTo the fact that last night I was thinking that perhaps we needed tanks on the street to actually shift these bunch of corrupt incompetants (and that includes the Tories & Lib Dems, they have different colour rosettes is all, they are all from the same controlling Political Class, not one law will be rescinded, not one tax lowered, not one freedom returned).
I shall indeed endeavour to 'keep smiling'
*Yes I know it was all built on lies, but we didn't know that then.
