Poets Day (20) Brunette Celeb Crush Edition

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meets in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which Heaven to gaudy day denies
.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face,
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,—
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent.

  1. Can you believe I taped over my recording of One Deadly Summer? (the one in which Mme Adjani apparently has a clothes allergy) I can only imagine I was going through a gay phase when I did so.

  2. Why would you do that? Why?

I have checked and it is available on DVD and I may have to purchase when in funds again.

I was allowed to keep my DVD copy of La reine Margot

After telling The Ex that is was a subtitled historical drama on the St Batholomew's Day Massacre of The Hugenots in 1572 ( which is actually not strictly a lie)

I knew she'd never insist on watching it.

  3. Mmm... maybe it would be best not bother with the DVD. On Amazon it received negative reviews such as the following:

"2.0 out of 5 stars Sorry guys, but...
I can't see the point of this unless you are super keen to watch Adjani prancing around wearing nothing except a pout and high heels. Read more

  4. Tea on new keyboard ( that didn't last long to test it's 'spill resistance')
