I think the cat overreacted a tad, but look at that fine paw work, both left and right with a couple of combinations thrown in. (and this is slowed down)

My theory that cats are women and dogs are men is not undermined by this. The bloke plays a funny trick on the wife by prodding her while she catches up on "me" time. She overreacts and starts having a go at him. He doesn't really care, he knows that arguing back will just make matters worse. Like a good Christian he turns the other cheek and waits for her to calm it down.
None of it really hurts him, he is a big man and can take the flak. If he had given her a bloody nose she would have phoned the police and he would have spent the night in a cell. If he ignores it he might get a shag later in the week.
@Blue : I see where you are coming from, But I've always thought if there is one animal you can't anthropomorphisize it is cats. Cats are cats, that's it. My favourite quote about them is:
