Cat Pants On Fire

Liar, liar, Pavlov’s Cat’s pants on fire.

Well sort of ,  I posted on the 30th April after finding out that I’d passed my probation that .

It turns out James was correct, well as they say a stopped clock is right twice a day . (only kidding James).

As I’ve found down the years the problem with being good at your job (and more importantly as far as management are concerned, just getting on with it and not moaning)  is that you are used to take up the slack for those that aren’t.

So I’ve been thrown at the difficult sites,  the out of the way ones etc. and yes the blogging has suffered.

But again as the old saw has it, virtue is its own reward,  I have now been seconded out by request to the local CCG covering SE London , so no more trips to  Uxbridge , Hackney , Wembley, West Ham , Barking etc. I can stay Sarf of the river where I belong.  This has unfortunately put some of the Old Guard’s noses out of joint, normally you need at least 2 years experience under your belt before being considered for a secondment and as it’s a bit of a plum as you get to stay ‘local-ish’, but well, fuck em, be better at your job.

It may be that James is once again correct and the additional duties do fill up the time. But dammit I like writing this sort of nonsense,

So the goal, as it was at the start of this blog is to write a post a day, just to make a change from the day to day, it will possibly [Ed. Certainly] be drivel  or something about animal attacks ( did you see the one about the chimp whisperer?)

Thanks for visiting again.

Much love to you all
